Mitchell is out of surgery! 2:40 pm

Mitchell's surgery went very well...as well as the doctors could have thought it could have gone! Praise God...his back is almost perfectly straight. They had no complications in surgery and don't expect any now.

We will get to see him around 3:30 for a few minutes.

Thank you for your prayers. God is SO good!

Pray now that his pain is bearable and that recovery is quick.

    I'm so glad to hear that everything went well. Just so you know..tomorrow when they want him to sit in a chair..be strong. It will be hard for him and it will be hard to watch. You'll feel pretty helpless. I will pray for strength for all of you. I'm not saying this to scare you..just to prepare you for what I've already experienced. Always remember..this to shall pass! God will give you all strength.

    So glad to hear the good news. I hope you all get some rest tonight. Tomorrow will be the first day on the road to recovery. Hopefully the pain will be manageable. We'll be praying for all of you. Hang in there --
