Tomorrow is the big day!

Tomorrow morning, bright and early, at 7:30, Mitchell's surgery is scheduled to begin. We will be there two hours early (5:30 AM) as requested. The surgery will be around 8 hours long...a long day for Doug and I. Mitchell will be out of it, so he will have no idea.

Thanks for the prayers...keep them coming!!

We'll keep you posted as the day goes tomorrow.

Mer and I are praying for peace, calm and an easing of anxiety for Mitchell and for your whole family. We are looking forward to a successful surgery and maybe then Mitchell will be able to fulfill my lifelong goal for me by dunking a basketball on a ten foot rim! God bless Mitchell!

I put a post-it note with Mitchell's name on it on my computer screen at VP, on my truck dashboard and at home so wherever I am tomorrow I'll be prompted to pray! Praying God's peace, power and presence for Mitch and for mom and dad and sisters.

Mitchell -- as I write this, your surgery should just be getting underway. I will be praying for you all throughout the day (and for your mom too!) I pray that the surgery is successful, that your pain will be minimal and your healing swift. Thanks for keeping us posted. Much Love -

My family and I will be praying for Mitch CONSTANTLY as he goes through this experience. I'm sure everything is going to go wonderfully, and before you know it Mitch will be perfectly straight!!:). Just know that your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
